In the Department Center for Research Data Management in cooperation with Information Technology Solutions TU.it of the Vienna University of Technology we are looking for an immediate reinforcement for the following field of activity:
Design and develop together with the Center for Research Data Management and the TU.it an integrated system for storing, managing and publishing of research data, code, and databases
Co-develop further data management tools and integrate them successfully with existing systems
Engage in requirements engineering with the scientific staff of the TU Wien
University degree or technical education (HTL, FH) plus relevant work experience
Good programming skills and experience with scripting languages, e.g. Python, Perl, Shell, etc.
Experience with design, development and deployment of software solutions
Experience with installation and maintenance of open source systems, e.g. GitLab, Invenio
Experience in working with Linux-based systems (installation, administration, etc.)
Experience with Cloud Stacks, e.g. Openstack, Kubernetes, etc.
Willingness to get to know new solutions & integrate them into the existing system architecture
Ideally experience in project management
Good command of English is required, willingness to learn German is expected, in case German is not your mother tongue
High ability to work in a team

Classification in the IVa category of the collective bargaining agreement for employees of universities and a minimum salary of EUR 2.673,10 gross per month. A higher salary depending on qualifications and experience.
