The faculty of Civil Engineering has established a research cluster “Risk and Security” with a focus on water. The cluster highlights two interconnected aspects: floods and water quality. The praedoc will focus on the risks and security related to floods, with special attention to the role of sedimentary processes.

Entry level salary as a predoctoral researcher is covered by level B1 of the Austrian Collective Agreement for university staff, and receives a minimum of currently EUR 2.148,35/month gross, 14 times/year.
